MONTREAL, QUEBEC – Notorious anti gun-nut Nathalie Provost has announced she will be running for the Carney Liberals in the riding of Châteauguay–Les Jardins-de-Napierville, Quebec in the upcoming federal election, rumoured to be announced March 23, 2025. Provost is best know as the spokesperson and co-founder of “PolySeSouvient,” a small but notoriously irritating anti-gun group that has been milking a tragedy for 33 years to restrict licensed, vetted, and law-abiding gun owners from owning firearms entirely. The group is also famous for manipulating Justin Trudeau during his time in power by threatening to deny him photo-ops should he not concede to their demands.
The group found a wilful partner in Trudeau‘s government, which proceeded to abuse emergency powers to restrict misleadingly-named “assault-style” firearms based on appearance alone, gradually banning hunting and sporting models on arbitrary designations. The banned firearms have never been used in armed conflicts, are not capable of being efficient in such scenarios, but neither the Trudeau government nor anti-gun groups such as Provost leads are famous for being honest with voters.
Gun rights groups are urging voters in the affected riding to strategically vote for Bloc Quebecois candidate Patrick O’Hara in that riding to prevent Provost from becoming an MP, as her elevated position would cause further damage to existing property rights which have been under disingenuous and offensive partisan assault since Trudeau assumed power.
